EASY Knitted Eyelet Cropped Cardigan (0-12 months)

Despite how complicated this appears, do not be put off, as long as you have the hang of the basics, you can do it 😉

Materials:
3mm needles.
Aprox. 120gr cotton or yarn for 2,5/3mm needles
3 buttons (or less - this is optional).
Lots of love and patience.

Sizing:
Premature Cast on 68 sts. →Arm area 8cm chest 21cm – K10 / y.o K2 y.o / k10 / y.o K2 y.o / K20 / y.o K2 y.o / K10 / y.o K2 y.o / K10

1-3 months Cast on 76 sts → Arm area 9cm chest 22cm – K12 / y.o K2 y.o / k11 / y.o K2 y.o / K22 / y.o K2 y.o / K11 / y.o K2 y.o / K12

3-6 months Cast on 88 sts → Arm area 11cm chest 24cm – K14 / y.o K2 y.o / k13 / y.o K2 y.o / K26 / y.o K2 y.o / K13 / y.o K2 y.o / K1

6-9 months Cast on 102 sts → Arm area 12cm chest 25cm – K16 / y.o K2 y.o / k15 / y.o K2 y.o / K32 / y.o K2 y.o / K15 / y.o K2 y.o / K16

9-12 months Cast on 108 sts → Arm area 13/15cm chest 25/26cm – K17 / y.o K2 y.o / k16 / y.o K2 y.o / K34 / y.o K2 y.o / K16 / y.o K2 y.o / K17

Once you have cast on the amount of stitches according to your size choice, start by knitting 2 rows in garter stitch.
Now, it is time to start the increases for body and sleeves so place your markers as I explain in the video and as listed above. 
On the third row it is also time to create a buttonhole which we shall repeat every 16 rows. 

Repeat this sequence given in the video to create the eyelets in the increases (LINK TO THE VIDEO HERE).

Once you have achieved the desired width of armholes (or the recommended width I have listed above), it is time to separate our work in five different parts and then knit all those individually. This part is explained a lot more in detail on my YouTube video (LINK HERE).
