ALL SIZES: Knit 6 rows in garter stitch.
Start Decreases:
Place markers and decrease as I explain in the video (link here) following the instructions below aswell as following the pattern instructions:
New born:
18 sts / marker / 8 sts / marker / 18 sts (until 10 sts at either side of markers).
0-3 months:
22 sts / marker / 10 sts / marker / 22 sts (until 12 sts at either side of markers).
3-6 months:
23 sts / marker / 12 sts / marker / 23 sts (until 12 sts at either side of markers).
6-9 months:
24 sts / marker / 14 sts / marker / 24 sts (until 14 sts at either side of makers).
Continue upwards:
Continue upwards following the eyelet pattern (or whichever pattern of your choice) until you achieve the cm's of your preference.
Add rib and cast off:
It is now time to add rib to the top of our bootie, I did a 3x1 rib, but it is completely your choice and preference! And then finish it off with a lovely stretchy cast off like I explain in the video to make it super stretchy and easy to put on baby!
And voila! Work done! How good was that? And barely any sewing up!
